Reza Arya

Born and raised in Mashhad, Iran, Reza Arya has always enjoyed a passion in life: Music!!!
Reza began by teaching himself how to play keyboards at an early age. In fact he remained illiterate with respect to reading music until age 12. Yet by the 2nd grade, his talents were acknowledged as he had been assigned as the leader of the local choir group at his school (a position typically assigned to an established adult musician), and went on to win several awards.
Still a teenager, by 1999, Reza felt very much repressed within the local atmosphere and felt that in order to further grow, he must continue his journey outside of Iran. Thus, he chose Toronto, Canada as his new hometown and began to live on his own and for the first time away from his loving parents.
By 2002 Reza Arya  had began to tour across Canada, playing the electric guitar in a band called Boss.
During this time, Reza began to explore writing music, the fruits of which are a dozen or so songs that he has personally written and today, with the help of some talented Toronto-based musicians and producers he continues to perform, produce and record new music.
